WWI Event

These are some pictures from this years WWI event June 27th 2010. We had a fairly good turnout in comparison to previous years. The weather was great with hardly any wind. I think there were around 8 or 10 entries and about 5 of those were not Pekin club members. I counted 12 aircraft and I think there might have been a couple more electrics. Someone told me there was even one there from Wisconsin. There were no tragic events while I was there (I left about noon) just your typical ground loops on landing. No one said how many Brats were sold but I don't think it came close to 100 so I guess someone will be eating Brats for awhile.

Club Picnic

Here are some pictures from the club picnic. I didn't get there till almost 2:00 pm so I probably missed most of the action. It looked like there was a real nice turn out and you couldn't have asked for better weather. Maybe someone will send me some more pictures.
