The race results for the 4 Star-40 race were as follows:

Chris Van Denburgh-Blm rc - - -14

Bernie Meegan-Washington rc - - 3

Dave Ludington-Bloomington - - 3

Larry Roberts- Pekin rc club - - - 0

The high winds damaged Larry's new plane prior to race time and Dave Ludington suffered the only crash during the race. Bernie had engine trouble. Points given each heat are 4 for first, 3, 2, 1. Cuts remove one point for first cut. 2nd cut disqualifies.

Kaitlin Miller was the little girl who pulled the winning ticket for the 50/50 drawing, and the winner was Tom Imhoff who took $68 home and our club got the same towards expenses for the event.

The heat and high winds may have scared a few pilots away, but those who came had a great and exciting time.
