Gary Lenhardt's winter project: For winter activity I thought I'd throw in a few pictures of my Extra 300 rebuild. This is the 4th fuselage I've built of this airplane. Two originally and two after mishaps. Anyhow this is the typical R/C modeler's winter pastime in Illinois. |
Pictures from the Fun-Fly Everyone had a great time, the weather was beautiful (temperature was in the 80's with hardly any wind) and the bugs stayed away. There were 14 registered for the event and everything went off without a hitch. |
Pictures from the WWI Fly-in It ended up being a little windy for the big Fokker's and Newport's but everyone had a good time and there weren't any major catastrophes. |
