On August 5th, 2006 club member Marv Prather's niece, Lt. Michele Lynne, presented the club with an American Flag that had flown over her compound, Camp Liberty, Iraq and a certificate from her commanding officer in Iraq, commemorating the celebration.

During the celebration the club president Denny Baker presented Lt. Lynne with a plaque making her an honorary member of the club as well as thanking her for her unselfish efforts in defending our freedom,

Lt. Lynne is a nurse with the 10th Mountain Div. at Camp Liberty and cares for our service men and woman, as well as Iraqi civilians.
